2026 New Perspectives Series: Dignified Care

This series explored innovative, person-centered approaches that place dignity, autonomy, and self-determination at the heart of mental health care. Through presentations from Ellenhorn thought leaders and clinicians, the series examines how supporting individuals as active participants in their own recovery can foster meaningful growth, strengthen therapeutic relationships, and improve outcomes. Participants explored topics such as the dignity of risk, collaborative care, recovery-oriented practices, and strategies for balancing safety with personal agency. Collectively, these webinars challenge traditional models of care and highlight practical ways to create environments where individuals are empowered to live fuller, more self-directed lives.
