Aziz Rubakovic’s first foray into the world of mental health occurred more than a decade ago while earning a bachelor’s degree in psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Through his own lived experience and the experiences of those close to him, he’s since become an impassioned advocate for promoting access to high-quality mental-health services. Over his years of dedication to the treatment of mental health, he’s learned to skillfully navigate this complex landscape while staying connected to the most clinically sophisticated, demonstrably effective and ethically managed programs. He is determined to help build a future in which individualized, person-centered, mental-health care is available to all who seek it. To help maintain his own mental health, Aziz enjoys running marathons, baking sourdough bread and trying to motivate his senior dog Finn to exercise.
